Repsonsible Person (GDP)

Talent STEM are assisting a leading healthcare and pharmaceutical services organisation is seeking an experienced Responsible Person (RP) to support and maintain compliance across regulated distribution activities within the UK and EU.
This is a key appointment within the quality and compliance function, offering broad responsibility across GDP governance, operational support, and regulatory oversight within a highly regulated medicines distribution environment.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure ongoing compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements
Maintain and develop the Quality Management System (QMS)
Oversee supplier and customer approval processes
Support product recalls, returns, and disposition decisions
Review and approve temperature excursion investigations
Conduct internal GDP audits and support external inspections
Provide compliance guidance to operational stakeholders
Support continuous improvement across regulated distribution processes
Liaise with regulatory bodies and external customers where required
Candidate profile:
Experience operating within a GDP-regulated pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
Ideally currently acting as a Responsible Person, Deputy RP, or senior GDP Quality professional
Strong understanding of wholesale distribution requirements
Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and senior leadership
Experience of audits, investigations, CAPA, and regulatory interaction
Degree qualified or equivalent professional background
